EnviroTech is a consultancy firm established by the youth with relevant qualifications and skills. Its focus area is environmental management in its broadest sense. The firm seeks to utilize up to date scientific knowledge, skills and technologies to offer solutions to challenges of sustainable development from an environmental management perspective. The firm’s approach is multi-disciplinary in nature, and it therefore renders services across a whole range of the environmental sciences including ecology, geology, hydrology, geo-informatics, environmental planning, soil science, environmental policy and economics. EnviroTech is essentially a black empowerment company of appropriate skilled young black professionals who are motivated by the need to make a difference in people’s livelihoods through the promotion of sustainable development. These young professionals are backed up by a pool of experts with international experience and pedigree in the areas of concern.

VISION

Envirotech has the vision of becoming a leading role player in the sustainable development of South Africa and the SADC region through the provision of cutting edge information, advice, technologies and related services on environmental sustainability of development activities to policy makers and development project implementing agencies.

MISSION

The mission is to engage in consultancy work on all aspects of environmental sustainability of development project cycle. These include feasibility studies, environmental impact assessment, integrated environmental management, environmental monitoring and auditing, project evaluation and project management. This will be achieved through consultancy work to be undertaken is very professional and ethical manner using state-of the art techniques.

Envirotech aims to benefit the clients by providing effective and efficient services to the clients in respect of current planning and development strategies that are implemented for sustainable development.

BACKGROUND

Envirotech is an Environmental Consultancy firm established by the youth with relevant qualifications and skills. Its young professional enjoys the backup by a pool of expertise with international experience and pedigree in the areas of environmental concern.
Envirotech specialises in environmental needs for infrastructural development.
This Consultant firm seeks to:
- Provide environmental consultantancy to the built environment.
- Provide environmental consultancy to the road constructive environment.
- Provide environmental services to public and private sector environmental infrastructural needs.
- Provide Services with regard to the waste management.

- Create an opportunity for professional and economic growth to the previously disadvantaged black South African Youth. It is these reason that its staffing is composed of youth.

ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION

Through its involvement of young black professionals with in depth skills in hydrogeological and environmental sciences, EnviroTech will strive towards creating more jobs in environmental sciences, hydro-geology and other related field.
This will be achieved by providing quality service to the clients and investing in young professionals in the field. It is for this purpose that Envirotech employees local young professionals for local investments.

EnviroTech Consultant is a BEE company on its own, with 100% shares owned by HDI persons. EnviroTech Consultant was established by Youth with understanding of the government’s call for job creation by youth in economic drive.

OWNERSHIP OF THE COMPANY

A total of 100% of the shares at EnviroTech Consultant are held by persons from previously disadvantaged Communities with equal standing and voting which therefore means the firm is on the hands of Previously Disadvantaged Individuals.

LOCATION

EnviroTech Consultant as an upcoming environmental Consultant firm is still based in Limpopo Province, with offices in Gauteng and Limpopo Province.
